The Standard Apps For Windows Phone 7

So Channel 9 showed off the apps that Microsoft has provided for Windows Phone 7 (which are really partially intended for developers since the source code is available so they can see how they were done). The video was 20 minutes and filled with witty banter...so I cut that down and now it's 10 minutes so you can just see the apps in action:) So there's a level (rotate it and it changes styles), unit converter, translator (which saves phrases locally and speaks them out loud), shopping list, weather, stocks and a Silverlight ball/accelerometer game called Unite (which is actually pretty cool). UNBOXING: T-Mobile Shadow

This is an unboxing and first impressions video of the T-Mobile Shadow. Although the T-Mobile Shadow isn't a brand new device, it's still a current model being sold so when I was given the opportunity to take a look at one I said yes. It runs Windows Mobile Standard 6, meaning it's a non-touch screen phone. With a slide-out keypad and 128 MB of RAM (along with a microSD card slot) it's one of the more powerful Windows Mobile Standard smartphones on the market today. USB 3.0 vs. USB 2.0 Speed Test at GIGABYTE with new UD6 mobo

www.tweaktown.com Earlier this week we visited the GIGABYTE headquarters here in Taipei and visited them to check out some USB 3.0 versus USB 2.0 performance numbers. GIGABYTE bought a Buffalo branded USB 3.0 hard drive enclosure and hooked it up to its new P55A-UD6 motherboard which comes complete with USB 3.0 support, powered by a new NEC controller. GIGABYTE installed a Kingston SSD inside the Buffalo enclosure and we ran some tests. First of all we show you standard Windows file copy performance and then we fire up HD Tach and run the numbers comparing the new SuperSpeed USB technology against the now aging USB 2.0.
